By using this site and joining our mailing list, you agree to provide accurate information. You must be at least 13 years of age to subscribe to our communications.
Joining our mailing list does not guarantee access to specific products or releases, or that an item will be in stock. We may change or end mailing list offers at any time. This will not affect an order you have already placed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. The terms that apply to your order are the ones in force when you placed it.
We ship to the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and most countries in the European Union (not currently Cyprus, Luxembourg or Malta). The countries available are shown at checkout. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) for UK deliveries, in euros (€) for deliveries to the European Union, in US dollars ($) for deliveries to the United States and in Australian dollars (A$) for deliveries to Australia. The currency you will be charged in is shown at checkout. Pulsar Clothing Limited is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged by us. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details.
Delivery within the UK is free and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 Signed For. International orders are sent by tracked UPS service with signature required. The international delivery charge depends on the destination country and the weight of your bag, and is shown before you pay. Orders over 10kg cannot be placed online for international delivery; please email contact@beautifulandafraid.com. Our first batch is estimated to ship in mid-late November. Where a product page shows an expected dispatch date, see Section 5A. Made-to-order items are covered in Section 5A too.
A contract of sale is formed once we confirm your order by email after payment is successfully taken. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, for example due to a pricing or stock error, in which case we will notify you and issue a full refund.
Delivery times and tracking information provided are estimates. Your order stays our responsibility until it is delivered to you. If a delay is caused by something outside our reasonable control, we are not liable for it, but we will tell you and your right to cancel under Section 6 still applies.
When a product page shows an expected dispatch date, your order will be dispatched on or around that date; our first batch is estimated to dispatch in mid-late November. Dates are an estimate. If we expect the dispatch date to slip, we will email you, and you may cancel your order for a full refund to the payment method you used.
Made-to-order items: some items, such as the Hurma Jeans in black, are made to order. This is shown on the product page, in your bag and at checkout, and you confirm it before you pay. Production is estimated to start in early December 2026 and these items are estimated to ship after the New Year. These dates are estimates: we will email you when production starts, when your order ships, and if we expect a delay. Made-to-order items cannot be bought in the same order as premade items, so each order is charged its own delivery. Your cancellation rights in Section 6 still apply, because these items come in our standard sizes and are not made to your personal specification.
Orders delivered to the European Union are sent Delivered At Place (DAP). This means the price you pay to us does not include import duties, customs taxes (such as import VAT or sales tax), or courier handling and clearance fees. These are set by the destination country, are charged by the courier or customs authority, and are payable by you when your parcel is delivered. We cannot tell you the amount in advance and have no control over it.
You must tick the box at checkout to confirm you understand this before you can place an order for delivery to the European Union. Orders to the United States and Australia are sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): we pay the import duties and taxes, so you have nothing more to pay on delivery, and this section does not apply to them.
If you refuse to pay these charges, or the parcel cannot be delivered for any other reason within your control (for example an incorrect address or no one available to sign), the parcel will be returned to us. Once it is back with us we will refund the price you paid, less the cost of return shipping and any courier return fees. We never refund import duties, taxes or fees you paid, or were charged, in your country, because these are paid to the courier or customs authority and not to us.
You are responsible for checking whether your item can be imported into your country.

How to enter: place an order on our website on or after 31 October 2026, then post an Instagram story that shows your order or your jeans and tags @beautifulandafraid. Both must be done before entries close. Entries close at 23:59 UK time on the day our first batch of Hurma Jeans starts shipping, and we will announce that day on our Instagram. Your Instagram account must be public, or the tag must otherwise be visible to us, so that we can see the mention. One entry per Instagram account, however many stories you post or orders you place.
Who can enter: customers aged 18 or over in any country we deliver to. The email address on your order must be subscribed to our mailing list when the winner is checked. Orders that are cancelled or fully refunded do not count. Our staff and their households cannot enter.
The prize: one winner will have the price they paid for the jeans in their order refunded to their original payment method. Shipping, import duties, taxes and courier fees are not refunded. The winning order is still sent as normal, within one week of the winner being confirmed or on its normal dispatch date if that is later. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or anything else.
How the winner is picked: within 3 days of entries closing we will draw one Instagram username at random from all entries. We will message the winner on Instagram and ask for the email address and order number used for the order, to check that the entry is valid. If the winner does not reply within 48 hours, or the entry is not valid, we will draw again. With the winner's permission we may share their Instagram username on our Instagram story.
We will never ask for card details, passwords or payment to claim the prize. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta. We may cancel or change the giveaway if something outside our control stops it from running fairly.
If you are a consumer ordering from the UK, you have a statutory right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You can cancel for any reason, without giving a reason, at any time from when you place your order until 14 days after you receive your goods. To cancel, contact us using the details in Section 9, then return the item(s) to us within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel. You can use the model cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to.
Change-of-mind returns: if you cancel or return an item because you have changed your mind, you pay the cost of returning it to us. We recommend using a tracked service, as you are responsible for the item until we receive it. Items should be returned in their original, unused condition with tags attached where applicable; we may reduce your refund if an item has lost value because it was handled more than was needed to inspect it.
Faulty or misdescribed items: if an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, contact us and we will pay the cost of returning it (or arrange collection). Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a repair, replacement, or refund for faulty goods are separate from, and not affected by, the cancellation right described above.
EU customers: if you are a consumer in the European Union you may withdraw from your order, without giving a reason, within 14 days of the day you receive your goods. To withdraw, contact us using the details in Section 9 before returning anything, then send the item(s) back within 14 days of telling us. You pay the cost of return shipping. We will refund the price of the item(s) plus the standard outbound delivery you paid, within 14 days of receiving the item(s) back or evidence that you have sent them. We do not deduct any UK import charges arising on the return.
US customers: although there is no legal right to cancel in the US, we offer a courtesy return within 14 days of delivery. You pay the cost of return shipping. When the parcel arrives back in the UK, we will deduct from your refund any import charges, duties or courier and clearance fees we are billed for it. The original outbound shipping charge is not refunded. We refund the rest once we have received the item(s), using the payment method you used.
Australian customers: we offer a courtesy return within 14 days of delivery, on the same basis as US customers above. Our goods also come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and this policy does not limit them.
Returned goods (all international returns): please contact us first and use our return instructions. Mark the parcel "Returned goods" and include the order number.
Refused or undeliverable parcels: see Section 5B.
UK and EU customers: once we receive your returned item(s), or evidence that you have sent them, we will refund the price you paid, including the standard delivery cost you paid to receive them (but not any extra cost of a faster delivery option you chose), within 14 days, using the same payment method you used to pay, via Stripe.
This cancellation right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, or goods which are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons if unsealed after delivery.
If we do not comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or of our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
